Peters hangs his shingle on Main Street

You’ve heard about Wall Street meeting Main Street. Well, there’s a new intersection between the two in North Bend.

Financial advisor Jeff Peters has opened up his own office on Main Street, North Bend, naming it Peters Wealth Management.

Peters, 47, is a 1988 graduate of North Bend Central.

“I just thought when I opened up my business, there was no where else I’d rather be than North Bend,” he said.

He worked for Edward Jones for 10 years before moving to a different company. When that firm was bought out, Peters took the opportunity to start his own independent business.

“I said, it’s time,” Peters said. “Let’s do it now. It’s something that I’ve dreamt about doing for a long time. This presented itself as an opportunity, and I pulled the trigger. It’s been phenomenal.”

He started Peters Wealth Management in November 2016, working out of his North Bend home. That setup lasted about six months.

“I worked out of the house and learned real quick that that is not easy to do,” he said. “I credit people who can do that. There’s too many distractions. So when this (office space) came available, it was the perfect move.”
