200k doses outby Nathan Arneal Last week Nebraska passed the 200,000 mark with first-dose vaccines administered. The COVID-19 vaccine has now been given to 13.5% of Nebraskans age 16 and above. A total of 7.3% of Nebraskans have received both doses of the vaccine. Nebraska has administered 94% of its allocated first doses and 61.4% of its allocated second doses, according to the Department of Health and Human Services dashboard as of Monday. You can still register for the vaccine on the COVID-19 page of NorthBendEagle.com. One number that went down is the Saunders County deaths, which was dropped from 17 to 16 this week. This is likely a result of COVID-19 being removed as the cause of death from a previous report. Dodge County reported 39 new COVID-19 cases in the week ending Monday, [Feb. 22, 2021] the lowest weekly total since early September.
