COVID vaccines for youth 12-18 offered

FREMONT – A coalition of community partners will offer a free COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic and Health Fair for area youth. It is scheduled for Tuesday, June 29, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Christensen Field Event Center in Fremont

The coalition is comprised of Methodist Fremont Health, Methodist Physicians Clinic, CHAD (Combined Health Agencies Drive), Fremont Family YMCA, the City of Fremont, University of Nebraska Extension Office, Three Rivers Health Department, Dodge County Sheriff and KHUB/KFMT.

The newest physicians to join the Fremont Methodist Physicians Clinics, Dr. John Dobleman, Dr. Janae Dudgeon and Dr. Nathan Neuberger, will be there.

The Health Fair will include:

• Free COVID-19 vaccinations for 12 – 18 year olds (parent must sign a consent form for minors to receive vaccination)
• Body fat testing
• Prize drawings
• Schedule an annual wellness exam/sports physicals on-site
• Seatbelt simulator
• Live radio remote on KHUB
• Other games, activities and treats
Masks are required. Parents are encouraged to attend.
