COVID emergency endedby Nathan Arneal LINCOLN – The morning of June 28, Governor Pete Ricketts held a press conference to announce the end of Nebraska’s coronavirus state of emergency. The 474-day state of emergency has seen masks, handwashing and social isolation as part of daily life. Now that is over with vaccinations having been administered to 47.9% of the state population. Those not vaccinated are encouraged to continue wearing masks when they cannot socially distance. COVID vaccines are available at in North Bend at Medicine Man Pharmacy and Three Rivers Public Health Department.
