The North Bend Eagle and Alex Legge Photography are inviting the public to be a part of the Pride of the Platte Photography Display at the Old Settlers celebration June 23-25.

It is free to enter your self-taken photographs. The display will be open for public viewing during Old Settlers, where the public will be invited to vote for their favorite pictures. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three photos in each category, with special awards going to the overall favorite photograph and the cutest picture.

Stop in to see the pictures and vote for your favorite! Photos will be displayed at the Masonic Lodge across from the City Park. The display will be open:

Saturday, June 24
5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Sunday, June 25
7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Voting will take place Saturday and Sunday morning. Results of voting will be displayed Sunday afternoon.

Categories include:
• People/Portraits
• Landscapes
• Rural life
• Action
• Nature
• Miscellaneous
• Youth (taken by ages 14 and younger)

Pictures entered can be any size, though we recommend making prints 8x10 or larger. Photos may be framed or unframed. Pictures entered must be physical prints. Individuals may enter as many pictures and they want. Please do not enter pictures that were displayed at preivous Pride of the Platte shows.

To enter: Drop your pictures off at the North Bend Eagle office any time before Old Settlers. You will also be able to drop your pictures off at the Masonic Lodge Thursday, June 22 between 4:30 and 5:30 while the display is being set up.

The end: You may pick up your pictures between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Photos not collected at that time will be taken to the North Bend Eagle where they may be picked up at the photographer's convenience.
