Survey results to be shared at town hall meetingby Nathan Arneal The public is invited to a town hall meeting at the North Bend Public Library on Monday, Dec. 16, at 5:30 p.m. Earlier this fall the Purcell Initiative conducted a community attitude survey of North Bend area residents to get a feel for what the community needs to prioritize in the future and what citizens would like to see added or improved in town. The Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District helped conduct the survey and has tabulated the results. Representatives from NENEDD will conduct the Dec. 16 meeting and share the data they gleaned from the survey. The survey asked opinions and suggestions on public facilities such as parks, the library, auditorium, pool, city hall and downtown as well as topics such as housing and businesses.
