Purcell asks Benders' opinionPublished 9/11/24 NORTH BEND – What does North Bend need? Where should we go from here?
These are the questions the Purcell Initiative, North Bend’s economic development committee, wants help answering. The Purcell Initiative in conjunction with the City of North Bend and the Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District is conducting a community attitude survey. The survey asks for opinions on existing facilities and services in North Bend and asks what North Bend needs to focus on going forward. The results of the survey will help direct the Purcell group toward projects to benefit the community. Anyone who has a connection to the North Bend community may fill out the survey, including people that do not currently live in North Bend. Click here for a direct link to the survey. The survey can also be found by cliking on the link at NorthBendNE.com. If anyone wants to fill out a paper version of the survey, they can be found at City Hall, Platte Valley Bank and the North Bend Eagle. The survey takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete and will be open until Oct. 9. At the end of the survey, respondents have the option to enter their e-mail address to win $200 in North Bend Chamber Bucks.
