Summary: After a very close half, North Bend got hot from the 3-point line with Kale Wietfeld and Jason Wehner striking from distance and Garrett Hetzel hitting shots from everywhere. However, the Fighting Elk fought back, with Cody Bobolz and Terry Doggett heating up from the arc. Back-to-back baskets from Garry Clark tied the game up at 70 with about five minutes left. Wietfeld hit a 3 on the other end and Wehner followed with a steal and a layup to quickly move the Ambush lead back to five points. West Point had trouble closing the gap again and began to foul. The Ambush scored their final 13 points from the free throw line and made 16 straight free throws to end the game.
