2016 Farmland Playoffs
The 2016 playoffs were all chalk, with the highest seed winning every game, a stark contrast to the 2015 playoffs, when the lower seed won every game. Oakland claimed a record fourth Golden Tractor by hanging on to beat Howells in the final. Oakland and Howells, who have combined to win the past five Farmland championships, have secured the top two seeds in the 2016 playoffs. Dodge gets in with a win over Wisner in the final week of the season, but the Beef get a chance for instant payback in the first round. North Bend, Pender and Wisner tied with records of 4-3, and all three went 1-1 against each other. Point differential among the three teams in games against each other decided seeds. Those differentials look like this:
Because of a gym conflict in Pender, the North Bend vs. Pender game has been moved up to Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. If weather does not allow for the game to be played at that time, it will be moved back to Sunday at 1 p.m. in West Point.
