2025 Farmland Playoffs
Feb 2: Howells won the championship after entering the post season as the No. 4 seed in a decisive win over Arlington. Jan 26: The top two seeds fell in the semifinals, as Arlington and Howells move into the final. Arlington will be playing in its first Farmland final, while Howells will be appearing in the championship game for the ninth time. Jan 19: Howells and Arlington defend their seeds with wins in the first round of the playoffs. The semifinals will be Howells at Wisner and Arlington at North Bend. Jan 12: The field is set. Wisner held off North Bend in the final week to stay undefeated and grab its third straight No. 1 playoff seed. North Bend's loss, in combination with Arlington's win over Howells in the final week, created a three-way tie for second place with Arlington, Howells and North Bend all finishing 3-2. Since all three teams went 1-1 against the other two, the tiebreaker becomes point differential in the games among the three tied teams. North Bend beat Arlington by 12. Arlington beat Howells by 16. Howells beat North Bend by 3. That leaves:
North Bend comes out on top of the point differential tiebreaker, so it takes the No. 2 seed. Then with two teams remaining, the tiebreaker reverts to head-to-head, where Arlington takes the No. 3 seed by virture of its win over Howells. Howells lands in the No. 4 slot. Therefore North Bend and Wisner get the first-round byes as the top seeds and will await the winners of Sunday's first-round games.
