BnE construction has begun installing the concrete trails in the Franklin-Coterrell Greens arboretum July 16. Read about BnE's donation of labor to the project. If all goes well weatherwise, Eric Johnson of BnE estimated that the new concrete trails will be done and ready for walkers within a week.
BnE workers ready the forms for the next section to be paved. The completed section in the lower portion of the picture, poured July 17, runs from the high school to the entrance to the stadium.
The trail will run behind the stadium and concession stand.
A view of the first section poured by BnE, running from the practice building toward the track and stadium entrance. The trails are eight feet wide.

Work progresses behind the old concession stand and restroom building and by the discus ring behind the stadium.
