Oakland took a large lead in the second half, but fortunes reversed in the second half. After being held to one field goal and a handful of free throws in the first half, Justin Sindelar went for 17 points in the second half as Howells rallied, then pulled away for the win.

The loss is Oakland's first playoff loss in its five years in the Farmland League. Meanwhile, Howells earns a berth in the championship game for the fourth staight year.
